ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Students were to design an elementary school in Columbus, Indiana for ages kindergarten thru fourth grade. The shell for the building was already established through a local architecture firm and students were to space plan the remaining areas. Students were required to implement CPTED principles in their design. DESIGN DESCRIPTION: Flatrock Elementary School is a STEM based learning environment. The bright color pallet initiates a simulating atmosphere for the young minds utilizing the space. To contrast the bright colors, the simple and durable flooring finishes have the ability to withstand the multitude of students that would be using the area each day.
